my first one was some old chinese guy whom my mum fancied, i was 11.
second was Gwen Stefani's. i was waaaay behind and i couldn't see anything. i enjoyed the concert only at the last part of it.
third and forth was The Click Five's! i enjoyed this the most.
fifth - Air Supply's. a very old band, but it was alright.
sixth - Avril's. some of the song's startings sounded like motivation (the drums and all) and i thought deryck would appear or something.. but nah. he followed avril EVERYWHERE in the asia tour, EXCEPT FOR MALAYSIA.. and singapore. wtf

i missed Switchfoot!

I HOPE GREAT BANDS WOULD COME HERE OOHHH PLEEAAAASSSEEEEE
I LOVE GOING TO CONCERTS

im quite lucky here really, we got alot of great bands here, great tours, and awesome festivals. ive seen some awesome bands over the last couple of years, about 100 and something. there's nothing better than a good gig!

there's only a couple of gigs ive got coming up at the minute:

8/10/08 - Finch + guests
4/3/09 - Rise Against + Anti-Flag + Flobots

i wanna get tickets to the 36 Crazyfists tour too. i need to save money for next year tho, there's 3 festivals i wanna go to next year

i have been at the 2007 juno awards, best performances that day were Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, City and Colour, and Alexisonfire. i was supposed to go to Sum 41 & Finger Eleven last year, but as you guys know, Deryck hurt his back.

as for upcoming shows, Nine Inch Nails are coming December 1st. i haven't decided if i want to go yet. im probably not going to, but then regret it later. And Rise Against is coming on Nov 30 and Dec 1. definitely going to see Rise Against. it's going to be a smaller venue, just standing only. going to be my first real concert, im fucking SPAZZING OUT RIGHT NOW!!!!

i absolutely love my live music!
been to a stack of shows, back when i was like 16 i think i hit like 10 major gigs in one year, no idea how i afforded it, i wasnt working at the time!
the summer festivals here are always a highlight but lately they've been slumping, most of the upcoming ones are shaping up to be pretty disappointing. Homebake was a waste of money last year (spent the whole day laying on the wet grass waiting bored outa my mind) and looks it again this year so not going to that. Big Day Out is also pretty mediocre so ditched that too. Soundwave is the only shining light for this season, can't wait its gonna be rad!
