I support abortion, so yeah, I do agree with Obama about that. It's not killing a baby. It's killing a fetus that hasn't even developed in to a baby yet. I'd rather my girlfriend have an abortion than for her to ruin her future because I was stupid and didn't protect myself correctly.

What I don't understand is why neither candidate can support gay marriage...
What is so horribly bad about two guys getting married or two girls getting married? I just don't see how they physically hurt anyone on the world by getting married... especially if they're public about dating and everyone already knows about it.

Can you be my president?

But seriously, we can have some good debating here.

To quote Mike Huckabee: "When the male sperm and female egg join, a new and unique life form is created. At conception. Not at birth or viability, or when a lawyer says so. At conception this happens. John McCain got it right; Obama pled less scientific knowledge than a 5th grader.
This life is either human or something else. Science irrefutably would declare that the life which is starting from that moment is human. It’s not a stalk of broccoli, it’s not a parrot, squirrel, or dolphin. It will never become a tree—it can only become a human. It has the entire DNA schedule that it will have for the rest of its life right then. In days it will begin to take on increasingly observable human characteristics and form, but at conception, it is biologically human"

what if you were never born because your parents had an abortion?

people using it as an excuse it's pathetic..

"Oh, he didn't use a condom.. and i don't want a kid"

pathetic..

it just sickens me.

i picked McCain on that issue.

abortion is a touchy issue. if you say abortion is wrong and yet you say stem cell research is alright, well, you're in a bit of a pickle right?

having unprotected sex is knowing the risk of conceiving and spitting in the face of risk. those who don't protect, are stupid and should get a taste of reality. (in case you couldn't tell i believe that a person becomes so at the point of conception. Murder is murder, people.)

And when your friend's sister is raped and gets pregnant?

"Oh yeah stupid whore, she shouldn't have worn that nice dress that incited psychopaths to have unwanted sex with her"

And having that thought: "What if you were never born because your mother had an abortion?"

Is, in my honest opinion, a bit stupid. First: well... nothing happens if your parents decide to have an abortion. You were never born, ergo, you don't care. (Don't start with something about life before birth, is even more lame than life after death).

And sometimes conception can occur EVEN while using prophylactics, so it's not always about stupid kids who refuse to use condoms.

Pregnancy can be really harmful for some women, and in some cases the risk of death is known beforehand. When a 13 year old gets pregnant there's a chance both the mother and the child will die.

It's a really complicated subject, and it should be treated in that way, not in the light manner that has been treated on this topic.
