If it is just a hop skip and a jump away, why don't you just see them in Halifax?
Oshawa's a hop skip and a jump from me, so I'm seeing them there...

Because they're in the UK on the 3rd, and New Brunswick on the 7th, they probably need about a day to travel before and after, so the 5th makes sense (and Mile One's clear at that time). Plus, they've played here for every album, why wouldn't they this time?
I could be wrong, but I'm optimistic.
Phili, I assume the "hop, skip and jump" will just be driving for you, but we'd have to take a plane or drive a lot and take a ferry.
