If Flying V already, Dave played a Flying V in Brown Brigade's latest (and first real, i think) performance at MuchMusic.
It's pretty cool.

someone should really put that one as sticky, even though he's not an official band member, i mean, he's even in the new Welcome video, which i think lets his thread being officialy sticky.

I'll jump the gun a year and a half later to sticky this topic.

The photoshoot, MySpace profile picture, official site banner, and fourgie with the rest of the band lead me all to believe Tom is being integrated into Sum 41 membership.

I personally think it's pretty fuckin' cool that he's in the band now

Hopefully, he'll bring some of his guitar skills into the recording studio. woo

I really didn't like tom at first he didn't act on stage at all just played the songs,I hate his hair, his vocals really suck(but come to think of it those youtube videos don't really shine quality) etc.

He wasn't Dave. Ha had tough shoes to fill. It's not strange that everyone hated him at first and to be honest I still don't like em that much. I don't know he just seems like some kind of imposter or something hah idk.

I got some respect for him after the metallica covers they did because he really did good there, but then couple of shows after he screws something up again.

To sum up well he's okay I guess a capable guitarplayer but god damn I wish they still had Dave.

I completely disagree. His vocals are waaaaayy better than Dave's.
I remember when I seen him with Sum 41. When he sang the "satan is his name" line in P4P me and my buddy immediately looked at each other with facial expressions that said "damn, digidy, yee-haw, dawg!...this guy is good!"

I doubt he'll play in the studio or write anything, but hey, man...wtf do i know?

I never saw them live with tom so I wouldn't know but as I wrote:

I've been listening to GOB and his vocals are kickass
I think my faves are the new one "Wake Up" and "Were All Dying"

He's awesome. I've met him twice and he's always so chill and down to talk about anything. I think his vocals and guitar skills are great, and while Dave's shoes were big to fill, I'm glad Tom was the choice to do the job

There's a chance they won't need Tom for a lot of the recordings. Especially if Deryck wrote most of the riffs anyway.
