My Lyric-Like Poems Thread

Ok, the first one I'm going to post, the lines are really simple, I know. I wrote it really quickly and they're supposed to be that way a bit.
This hopeful little poem is called "Talk" and I wrote it for my little sister who's bordering on autism.
You talk to them
For hours and hours
You turn to me
There's nothing
My little friend
You have the power
To overcome
Everthing
I wish and hope that someday
You'll smile, you won't be afraid
'Cause I can't stand this constant silence
It hurts and won't go away
I hold onto
Every little word
That you say right
To my face
I know somewhere
You and the bluebirds
Are saying all
You wanted to say
I wish and hope that someday
You'll smile, you won't be afraid
'Cause I can't stand this constant silence
It hurts and won't go away
Just try and tell me everything
That's going on inside your head
Don't leave me here with nothing
Nothing left to be said
I wish and hope that someday
You'll smile, you won't be afraid
'Cause I can't stand this constant silence
It hurts and won't go away
Just talk...
