I hope the album won't be too too electronical, that's all I've got to say.

If Muse goes dubstep, it'll be the only good dubstep.

What the...

Was the music at the start Muse? Or just the dubstep part? If it's the latter, I don't know if I could listen to this new album. Muse or not, I think dubstep is lame and I'm going to stick to my guns on that one.

EDIT: Did Sum 41 ever make a trailer for Screaming Bloody Murder? If not, it would've been epic if they did.

Not going to lie, if the entire album is like this I'm going to be extremely disappointed. I remember reading somewhere that their next album was going to have a lot more ballad/romantic type songs, not techno bullshit.

I don't know if this little promo counts. If it does- than it's not that epic.

Haha, that was pretty funny. The Charlie Sheen kind of dates it though and the only epic part is the chants at the start.

If this album actually mixes as much electronica with typical Muse as the trailer shows, it's gonna be the greatest thing ever

It just sounds like all the other dubstep out there. I guess it's cool since it's played with actual instruments, but the actual riff/melody whatever you call it sounds like typical dubstep.

If this just happens to be the breakdown of a single song, then okay, dabble in dubstep just don't make it an album affair.

I hate dubstep too, i currently live in Kelowna which is like the electronic music capital of Canada. But Matt Belamy is like this generations' Brain May. Brian May as you should know is from the band Queen, in which he embraced the current technologies and found interesting and groundbreaking ways to use the guitar as in the songs Ogre Battle (creating screeching monster sounds), and Good Company (recreating an entire dixie land jazz band).

Muse to me, have always been about progressing and pushing the limits of what people expect them to do. No one seemed to have a problem with this live guitar solo to Supermassive Black Hole, which is very electronic in nature:
the only logical way forward with this band is to add new and interesting elements to their songs. though yes, i hope its not all wubwbuwbuwub, it'll be interesting to hear the songs on this next album. i imagine it's going to be incredibly eclectic.

I'll keep an open mind when the album drops, I'll give the songs a listen. If any band were to incorporate dubstep, Muse would be the logical choice.

Muse, just like 3DG, didn't live up to their last album. But this trailer gives me hope! Lets hope the first single is decent!

There is a rumour (apparently been confirmed) that the song will debut on Zane Low TOMORROW night at 730pm...I don't think the band has said anything??? Hopefully it's all true

http://itunes.apple.com/album/survival- ... Id=1818594

This song is written for the olympics, it'll be played in the stadiums and on TV throughout, it's "Survival" and not the Unsustainable song with dubstep. I don't think Survival's actually going to be on the album but I'm not sure.
