Summer Songs?
Does anyone know any good songs that are great for summer? For example, the entire All Killer No Filler album or "Holiday from Real" by Jack's Mannequin. I'm trying to come up with a nice little playlist or two to drive around to this summer.

Re: Summer Songs?
If were talking bubblegum pop-punk songs i have a playlist for that but i can't listen to it because the songs are so cheesy, most of the are only in there for nostalgia reasons about the music i only listened to 6 years ago. But The Gaslight Anthem, especially The 59' Sound. Maybe Less Than Jake.

Re: Summer Songs?
I just got into this band last week called the Lumineers; some real feel-good indie. you'll like them, Jeremy.
And of course i have to mention Rush. Prime Mover is one of their most underrated, and often overlooked songs from the 1980's. Actually, the whole Hold Your Fire album is full of optimistic feel-good new-wave-ish rock.

Re: Summer Songs?
Not necessarily bubblegum-pop, but just something about the song that has a "summer" feel to it. I've got some Frank Turner, Gaslight Anthem, Menzingers, Blacklist Royals, and some garage rock like The Subways already. I've got the odd pop-punk songs like East Coast Anthem by Good Charlotte and Burnout by Green Day.
These are songs that I've had forever though, so it's not like I'm listening to anything new.
(This whole summer playlist idea came from the release of "45" by The Gaslight Anthem. I want to be able to put it on an album with other like songs - not just The Gaslight Anthem - so then I can listen to it as much as possible before their new album drops!)
EDIT: Thanks, Dylan!

The new Organ Thieves has a pretty laid back vibe to it, but you probably knew that already.

Re: Summer Songs?
I like "kids in the street" by the all american rejects (the song), or even the new song "dementia" from owl city.
I also like some songs off the album of +44.

It’s like sounding really nice, having a good feel, that’s all about the guitar.
That’s what I care about. I’d rather be a better strummer than fuckin' jizz all over the fuckin' fretboard...

Yeah TGA, Frank Turner, Friends Like these by Deaf Havana, Ooh La La by Faces, Lazy Generation by The F-Ups, most of Foot in Mouth Disease, a fair few Stereophonics and Feeder songs, and Lostprophets, All Star by Smash Mouth, the list goes on almost endlessly...

Whenever I listen to Sugar Ray it always makes me feel like summer is here. I'm sure you know of "Fly" and "Every Morning". Love them.
