I'm very, very curious to know how I can find out the names of songs that the Sums recorded for every album since Half Hour of Power up until Screaming Bloody Murder that were never ever released. I emailed Dave Brownsound a few months ago asking for all the unreleased recorded songs from HHOP to Chuck and he replied by saying that he would try to someday complete the list for me. Does anybody know how many songs the Sums wrote and recorded for every album from HHOP to SBM and the titles of the unreleased songs from each of the album sessions? Please, if anyone could help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!! I just happen to be a HUGE fan, that's all...

The two which come to mind from UH & SBM are Pla & Like Everyone Else (the latter being released soon by the Op M.D.). There are a couple more recent ones which are either unnamed or unfinished (mostly C-Sides).

But they have a LOT of unreleased stuff, 90% of which is either unfinished and abandoned or recycled and used in another album/band. I really don't think Deryck likes releasing stuff he isn't happy with being on a record. Dave should be able to give you a good list though.

Only Dave is this awesome.

Yeah, most of the stuff they covered aren't full covers, like Last Resort and Raining Blood. It's just parts or interludes. Much like the stuff they do on the "Metal Mayhem" shit with them covering parts of songs by Judas Priest, Metallica, Motorhead, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, etc.

I don't think anyone knows the titles for the unreleased songs, other than Like Everyone Else and Pla. So to get those titles, you have to ask the band itself (and hope they still remember them).

They barely remember some of the titles of songs they've released haha, so it's hard to believe they will remember titles of unreleased stuff from 2000-2007.
I remember someone in here asking Cone about UH b-sides on Cone's Myspace, mentioning the song "No Apologies" and Cone thought that the talked song is "Noots" cuz of the chorus, so they barely know of songs they've released.

Yeah, Cone didn't remember the name of Holy Image Of Lies either.
And Deryck didn't recall the name for Angels With Dirty Faces.
And not to mention Stevo with Open Your Eyes and Count Your Last Blessings and all the others during these years.

Well they've said on multiple occasions that they never listen to their own music once it's out in stores, so the only way they'll remember a song is from playing it live.

Listen dude, Deryck writes everyday. the ones that we know of are probably only 40% of the songs he's written, there is over one metric FUCK TONNE of "unreleased" sum 41 songs. a lot of them probably don't even have fucking titles. Even if you found out the titles to all the songs they've recorded, what about the ones that decided not to record? there even more of those. so what you are asking is impossible. and its VERY unlikely that Dave has the complete list, he just said that to not seem like an asshole.

Sister Act was basically a demo version of No Reason, so I wouldn't call it an unreleased one.
