Chris#2 -> Anti Flag

He makes awesome basslines, it is always complicated but never too much, it always fit in the songs which makes the sound of Anti Flag even more agressive.

Mike Dirnt -> Green Day

So cool basslines, Green Day was the first Rock band I really liked and he made me likes great basslines, because of him bass is the instrument I prefer to play.

Fat Mike -> NOFX

Unexpected and original bass lines in Punk Rock songs. This guy surprise my ears.

Fab -> Justin(e)

Justin(e) is a french Punk Rock band you probably never heard of. But it is awesome. It's a combination of crazy lyrics, fast drum and guitar AND an epic bass player. This guy make simple song become more powerful just with good ideas and talented fingers. This is what I want from a bass player in a punk band.

This is an original and artistic punk band, my favorite band in France. You should check it : http://justinepunkrock.bandcamp.com/album/accident-n-7

I know it's a bit of cliche, but... John Entwistle. Maybe Chris #2.

Matt Freeman is ok too, but I don't listen to Rancid very much.

Yes it is exactly the same for me ! I don't know why Rancid is such famous by the way, comparing to NOFX or Anti-Flag...

Concerning Cone is a quite good bass player (contrary to what most of people say, he's not just following the guitar chords... well it depends of albums) but not impressive enough to be in my top of "favorite bassists"
