Thanks Tomi, I was trying to find the gob thread a while back...I posted this in the Tom thread but it should probably go here too. He seems pretty stoked people are asking about it so maybe it will get done sooner than 6 months, haha

Thanks also. This is awesome news, they're a much loved band, and they haven't been in the equation for a while. Plus by the sound of those studio updates they did, the music sounds very good and quite a change for them. This is why I to hope it comes out asap.
Gob is going to play at Boonstock Festival in Gibbons, AB, Canada in the end of June / start of July.
So at least we know that Sum 41 won't be too far from Canada that time.

I agree. There "dark" music is not bad, but it doesnt seem like that what they're "meant" to do. But i like it. Its just strange cause its Gob! Im sure people who dont know Sum 41 very well are saying the same thing right now....lol

^ This. But hahaha, probably so! I still think the style of AKNF was their best with Chuck being second.

Pssh...please. Sum 41 was MEANT for Chuck and Screaming Bloody Murder. I think they should be recalled by their heavy stuff.

I love Chuck, that's the first album I got by them , and I think that shows off what they can do the best. I like everything they do...back to Gob...lol

I'm contemplating going this year. I went last year and there weren't any bands I wanted to see except for my friends' band. I just got really drunk and realized I'm not too big on outdoor festivals haha.
Wow, that's a crazy line up!
Billy Talent and A Day to Remember are some of my fav bands, plus it has some great electro artists like Avicii, Knife Party, Afrojack, Kaskade and Crystal Method... and GOB who are barely playing live anyway... too bad I don't live in Canada
Had a short chat with Tom. He has one song left on lead vocals, and then some backing vocals and then the recording process is done! He will also work with some other songs he has for other purposes, some of them which he will send to Deryck...
