blink 182's reunion tour

Post by valderie »

has anyone else gone/is going to go? your thoughts on the set lists? or travis' INSANE drum solo?

i went to their first long island show (8/9) and will also be at their 2nd date (8/25) and their newly added nyc date (10/4).
as a little kid i loved blink cause my mom was a big fan and never got a chance to see them live cause at 8/9 yrs old she thought id die in their crowds. now that theyre touring again and i can get in for free im taking advantage and making up for missed time.

it's such a fun show! if you get a chance to go, i suggest taking it!

I'm going Sept. 18. How are you getting in for free?!? I payed $50 for one ticket and I bought two so it cost $100. I don't know if it's worth it, I'll see.

It was amazing. I was drunk for the most part, but it was amazing. I still wish I could've brought my camera in. I didn't even get searched.

how the fuck would you die in the crowd at a Blink 182 show? especially at shows in America, you kids don't know how to throw it down like we do here in the UK or Germany.

Lawl, if you think a Blink 182 poser pit is bad then you've never been a UK circle pit at bloodstock... Now that's how people die.

Shit, dude. You should see punk rock bands in Sweden. There are 700 people in ione tiny venue. There you die in the crowds. It's fun to live in a country where it doesn't live that many so it has to be small shows.

I think there's a lot of Swedish bands playing at Bloodstock this weekend. I'm so fuckin' pumped. It's going to be a great weekend. I've been looking forward to seeing Arch Enemy for quite some time now

yea, I've been involved in some crazy pits at Download before. it's awesome. I remember the first time I saw Lamb of God at Download 07, there were like 9 huge circle pits going on at once. fuckin awesome! and when I saw Korn at Brixton Academy, around 5000 people in a smallish venue all moshin to Freak On A Leash!

Rage Against The Machine at Reading last year was pretty hectic too, purely for the amount of people all in one smallish space.

Just got my nose broken and my ear ripped of a bit in a circle pit at Walls of Jericho. It was at Dour in France, anyone else been there?

Oh and pit's at Lamb of God concerts are FTW. So is Wall of Death.

yea, walls of death are brilliant, especially at festivals with big crwods! and if you ever see Slipknot, they make the whole crowd sit down, then all jump up at once. pure carnage!

I'm going to the show on September 4th. Support from Taking Back Sunday, Weezer, and lots of small bands.

Back in 2005 at Fields of Rock. 60000 people. During Slayer the whole crowd was one big moshpit. A moshpit consisting of 60000 people. It was sick.
