I think Sum 41 should take Brown Brigade on tour and then Dave could come out for P4P. Like Chris #2 with Billy Talent on "Red Flag." It might make it hard for Dave though, who seems to really want to separate Brown Brigade from Sum 41.

I read about it in the new-slag of oldschool members, actually...then investigated a bit and saw what someone posted about it on Dave's facebook wall - then came straight here for details haha.

Unfortunately, Dave wouldn't have seen what he was missing since he's not missing anything. He's very, very happy in what he's doing right now.

That being said, I still teared up like a schoolgirl watching that video *lol* It's impossible to get good sound quality when taping on a point and shoot camera and at a concert, so there likely isn't any decent video - but guaranteed some photos will turn up.

They haven't had any meet and greets since they shut down the GP.

And it may seem like a lot of after parties, but they've only had two this tour. One because Oshawa's ridiculously close to Ajax and the other because it was the end of their tour.

Well, heres my concert review with pictures.

I give that concert an A fucking +. The opening bands were decent, Social Code was amazing and got the crowd fairly wild. Once sum 41 came on, it was crazy and very packed. Me and my 2 other friends had worked our way almost to the very front, 2nd row we got to before the fence. In the usual way, deryck picked like 7 people to come on stage, you can see them in some of the pictures. He also brought some guy on stage who once was on stage "didn't feel like playing". Also had a drinking game there, the first guy they brought on stage didn't have ID so they got a second guy who lost so incredibly bad, still, he got a free beer. It was hard to get some pictures since there was basically always constant movement. Also at the end there, yes its true, Dave Brownsound came in for a crazy solo at the end of Pain 4 Pleasure. Someones got a youtube video of it.
As for the set list, I can't remember 100% since I was having such a great time, anyone else who was there help me figure it out:

- Underclass Hero
- Hell Song
- Motivation
- We're All To Blame
- Makes No Difference
- Machine Gun
- Walking Disaster
- In Too Deep
- Over My Head(Better Off Dead)
- 2 Elvis Covers
- Pieces
- King of Contradiction
- With Me
- Still Waiting
- Fat Lip
- P4P

haha, yeah, that smile in the second picture is just great haha :D

overall, great pictures, but too bad there are no more good pictures of Dave, like the smooth pics of Deryck for example.

btw, its really to see Deryck changing guitars in the middle.
from all the last shows especially in the UH tour, but in the GCY tour also, he always uses his Sig Tele Deluxe, and its been a while since i have seen him chaning guitars in the middle of the show, or him playing any guitar other than the Tele Deluxe.

American Fender Telecaster with a Telecaster Vintage Bridge, other then that, it's just a regular telecaster possibly with seymour duncan pickups.

Holy shit, that's awesome. So that's what you guys were talking about in "The Hour" topic in The Sums forum. I was like, "What the hell? I don't remember Dave being on The Hour." I thought I was just sleep deprived.

Anyways, I think the cream colored guitar Deryck is using is probably the '52 Teles he said he uses. It's also got the vintage style pickguard with 5 screws as opposed to the present day 8 screws.
