Love it. Not your typical Sum 41 song, for me it has a Linkin Park feeling to it, but it sounds great.

I'll just say it's certainly not what I expected! Especially the beginning was a surprise but you can feel it's a Sum song as it continues.

For me is a stranger song for the band but i really like it,i dont say nothing more only one thing, Thank you so much Deryck for sharing a part of you

I like because is something new, other style with a good sound and because the lyrics is very personal and deep but its true that i doesnt feel like a first single.
For the other hand is a good idea publish this song like a first single because we could hear Fake my own death before, this way we can to know how will be the album, we got a metal/punk/rock song and other rock "Ballad".

It reminds me more of Pieces than BIME or Speak of the Devil.

So i dig the track, it does remind me of linkin park but its solid and a good song for a radio single.

I like how Deryck is incorporating one or two lyrics from past songs into these new ones.

Beautiful song, it's like Pieces, the video too. I like the part that he is burning the old past stuff, very symbolic. But it's me or what but the song that I heard before the video comes out have some changes like in the bridge and guitar part there's no the "War" scream, and some other background vocals, but in this version of the official video there are the war scream and there are the background vocals, so we have a "semi" demo of War?

I like it. That's all I can say.

The video really compliments the song well, especially where Deryck is burning his old stuff. A little cliche, but it makes sense. I was not a big fan of him rising to the sky though, it reminded me of the Bruce Wayne scene in the Batman v Superman film, haha.

As for the song itself, it's a fitting first single. I am glad, however, that Fake My Own Death was released first. These two songs together can give the general audience and idea of what to expect from the new album.
