What kind of effects did deryck use for his voice ?

Post by 182sins »

Hey everybody, i was just wondering what kind of effects did deryck use for his voice... I mean, his voice is very very very good, but i know that there are a few effects, like reverb or something like that, but i really can't figure what exactly. For example, i compared two songs of blink182, one has some effects, but not the other one :
http://www.deezer.com/track/9923 (the one with effects)
http://www.deezer.com/track/30198 (the one without any effect)
The first link reminds me deryck's voice, so i really wonder what effects were used in the first link... Thanks in advance for your answers !
Oh, and btw, sorry for my poor english...

well... the first one is live, the other one isnt. first off, both of them do have effects on them because the mark tom and travis show isn't really live, they re did most of it in a studio. but there would have been plenty of effects. a vocal corrector first off. as well as a compressor, bit of reverb and echo, and some other stuff. it really depends on what song it is too or even what part of the song, it changes all the time. but live, theres usually nothing.
