Probably my favorite band at the moment. I just recently rediscovered them on my iPod. One of those moments where you see a band you've had on your iPod for so long, not sure what they're doing there, you listen to an album and you're like, "Okay, now I remember!" I've been spinning their album "Baby 81" in my car for the past couple of weeks. A little bit of rock & roll, neo-psychedelia, garage rock... etc.
One of my favorite songs:
All songs are from the same album.

Re: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
New album came out a while ago called Specter At the Feast. It's pretty good, it's a bit darker due to the singer's father passing away around the time they were writing the album I believe. Still, there are some pretty tight jams on this disc.
To try and compare it to Sum41 I would have to say it's the intro of Skumfuk, Exit Song and a whole lot of gritty rock and roll on top.
