i really like Tom cause he fits the band perfectly!
both canadian,both similar bands.
i dont miss dave at all but i became fan of them in like 08/09 or something.
tom had some troubles with solos like ''the hellsong'' but he is doing a much better job and his ''paint it black'' cover was really great when i saw the guys last year in ''013 tilburg'' in the netherlands
just one thing, his guitar sound is a little dry and to high at some points.
his sound during the solos is dry and sounds a bit dead.
daves sound was fat/sweet/warm.....guitarists will know what i mean.
and tom has to connect more on stage..i dont get why he doesn't walk on stage or connect with the audience
