It's a decent song, but I don't know, it's like (+44) added to AVA.

And imo (+44) + AVA # Blink 182.

There's still something I need to get used to: where the fuck is the power in the chorus? You know what I mean, it sounds somehow flat...

Yeah I agree with ya on that. The chorus seems weak compared to the rest of the song.

Yep exactly what I think. The pre chorus sounds great, and I don't know, Tom's voice in that song feels... Different ! Anyway this song helped me make my mind: I'm gonna buy the album, I don't think I'll listen to it every day, but I think it'll be pretty cool !

You know everyone is gonna say that a song is either AVA or +44, there's not going to be a "Blink song" I've been noticing that by the comment on Hearts All Gone, Up All Night, and now After Midnight. But they all are Blink, and I really like this song too, I was able to find it on a site at 256kps, so that'll last me until the album comes out! I can't wait!!!

I like it, one of the best blink 182 songs i've heard imo. the only thing i don't like about it is the ending.

I disagree.

Up All Night clearly was influenced by Tom's AVA, while After Midnight has (+44) and AVA in it, to me at least.

Heart's All Gone was a definition of a Blink-song, at least from their Enema of the State-era.

Still like their last album the best.

Blink 182 Discussion Thread

Post by Jeremy Kill »

I can honestly say I don't care too much for the new Blink-182. Nothing I have heard so far has hit me as so great that I need to put it on repeat. Most of the time it's been the whole "let the songs grow on you process". I suppose the right word would be indifference.

More or less the same except for the growing on me bit. I still don't like listening to the 3 songs so far. Here's hoping for better songs on the album.

exactly the same for me. I dunno, I just don't really care for a new Blink 182 album, I've moved on. will still buy the new album and hope for something to change by mind, but if it doesn't then I don't really give a shit. I've got Brian Fallon to wank over these days.

Because it's Blink 182, not AV+BCR44 or whatsoever, allthough it sounds like it.

Just that we can't change it, doesn't mean we can't discuss it, right?

What we've got in all 3 songs are blink-182. If any of these songs showed up in their side projects everyone would've been like WTF this is nothing like the rest of their songs.

I used the link that Fardeh posted, it worked well, the song is godd, I like it more than the other ones ...
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.

Haha, Elsie, Elsie, Elsie! I still haven't received my deluxe order from the website yet!

As for Blink, I'm hoping for some more faster-paced, aggressive-type songs (ie. Stockholm Syndrome, Go, Easy Target... Etc.). Tom needs to play the guitar more!
