Time For You To Go is the worst song on the album imo. Exit Song is just an Exit Song for god sake. It's like an outro, why would anyone vote that? For fuck sakes, the last song on the album is really Back Where I Belong. That song is alright but it's not one of my favorites. I hate one line in it "You cant stop what's already begun, here in the Down and Out!". I feel like that is some of that "forced" writing that is all through UH.
I agree.
I love Time For You to Go!! I think that bydwk is the worst song on the album....

Back Where I Belong is my Deep Cut, its not bad but i don't understand why its a single...Deryck's vocals are pretty obnoxious (i cringe every-time i hear that "Got my back against the wall" line) throughout the verses but the chorus is good...but, as was said before, i feel that this song is the only one on the album that feels forced...like a harder version of a UH song. the instrumental is good but the vocals ruin it for me.

and I really enjoyed Baby You Don't Wanna Know and Time For You To Go, they were good songs, its just that those songs were the black sheep of the bunch. Everything was gloomy and heavy while those songs where upbeat and rock n roll-esque, it was weird hearing it after Skumfuk and Blood In My Eyes. I'm sure you all would have enjoyed it more is the album was 12 songs and they released them as b-sides.

And don't forget Deryck said himself if he made a song right now be the most upbeat song you've heard from him in a while, think about it, maybe those were two examples

I'm surprised about exit song, the lyrics to it just feel so soothing yet haunting, before this album handle this and peices have been the only slow sums songs i've really loved but over now and exit song make me feel sad which now other band or song has ever made me feel before. And to the guy that said we're the same is the worst track on the album.. i thought the same on first listen now it's one of my favourites on the album and im not quite sure why yet.. :holyshit:

My vote went for what am I to say, i've listened to it twice maybe and don't have the urge to listen again, has always been the same with best of me and with me...

If I could I'd select two: Time For You To Go and Baby You Don't Wanna Know, not because they suck just because they seem like the odd ones out when compared to the rest of the album.

i don't think "deep cuts" is the right term you want.
a deep cut or deep track is a song which commercial radio stations rarely broadcast. It is taken from the fact that on vinyl albums, the hit singles promoted by record companies are usually found early on in the record, with the other, lesser-known songs buried "deep" into the record.
but if we're talking about least favourite/ worst songs, i'd definitely say "we're the same" is my least favourite. i think it's a good thing it never made the album. i like the music, but it never struct me as hard as the other songs. but, if we are talking about songs that ARE on the album, i gotta say i don't care for Skumfuck's new intro.

I was thinking this, especially with the new intro it is not the worst track on the album. I really like What Am I To Say. At first I thought the same as you did about it but after a few listens I've really come to enjoy it. the Exit Song, may be the least interesting song for me, but it does sum up the album into almost 2 minutes so I guess it's important on the album as the last track. I don't know, theres no song I really dislike.

A song by an artist that only true fans of said artist will enjoy/know. True gems that are found later in an album, a b-side. Rarely if ever played on the radio.

but, because you said:
FuckT41182 wrote:so,you all sure remember the time when Skumfuk ''leaked'' and Matt wrote a note to Nick, where he called Skumfuk a deep cut(the worst song on the album, the song that barely made it to SBM)

but I don't really think so, I definitely consider What Am I To Say as a Deep Cut...
people started talking about the song on the album they DIDNT like. when "deep cut" refers to a song that's not a single, but still enjoyable, aka they DO like it.

listen, Matt said it this way, deep cut , barely made it the album, ergo the worst song ;) and I wanted them to vote for the worst song anyway :winkwink:
