We had a good week, so it's normal things slow down a bit.
I wasn't disappointed :) , I knew it was coming..
I was just pointing out that we're at that point right now..

Let's hope that we'll have something big to talk about(that's what she said) by the end of the month

I have another album to listen to coming out tomorrow so I will hold on ;)
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else
Mark: Sometimes when I talk in 3rd person i end up calling tom mark
Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.

I think the only thing that's going to be retained from Underclass Hero is the writing style (not talking same chord progressions in more than one song either). Just how they incorporated piano, vocal harmonies and etcetera. Throwing in different parts in songs (ie. Pull the Curtain). One thing I liked about Underclass Hero was how it felt more complete and wholesome than the other albums. You could tell there was a lot of time taken to make sure it was a finished product. I'm hoping Screaming Bloody Murder feels the same way.

yeah the writing style will be probably kept ...it will be cool to listen to it though ...cause UH was written during Deryck's best time of live and you could feel how happy he was in the lyrics ...now I expect the opposite

Ya I got home safe. No problems. The single will be soon. I'm thinking in the next month to 6 weeks. This album will be heavier and more aggressive then anything we've done so if people are into that then they will like this album. This really is a fans albums. Fans of Infected and Chuck will love this.
a fan posted this on another site
Hmm, I somehow think it'll have a Chuck/Underclass Hero vibe to it. Really don't care what it sounds like as long as The Sums stay true to their music.
what do you mean "a chuck/underclass hero vibe?" those albums are radicallly different from one another, so how on earth can you categorize them as a bundle pack? i could see maybe grouping hhop and aknf together. or dtli and chuck, but chuck and uh are incredibly dissimilar.
Yeah, Chuck was pretty much a metal record and Underclass Hero was pop-rock. In terms of lyrical content (other then the love songs) they both in a way are similar.

I REALLY hope that this record picks up where they left off after Chuck, i'm not saying i want Chuck 2 or Does This Look Infected? 2 but i think metal/hard rock was what they did best and from what i've heard so far, i don't think this record will disappointed me.
Well, I think that the lyrics and personal experiances on SBM will be like UH but abit darker like the Chuck album. Something like that. But of course it won't be metal, even though it will be a mix of things.

I also think one reason this album felt so complete was that the album didn't fly by like DTLI and AKNF did. Its seems that they didn't care about making music for others and only for themselves so they didn't care for making quick catchy songs thus making It was their first album to be over 40 mins. While the meanings were good the songs them selves didnt sound amazing (with a few exceptions Pull The Curtain, March Of The Dogs, Count Your Last Blessings, King Of Contradiction and Speak Of The Devil were all great songs) which is what i think thinking this album will improve on, having fantastically written songs with instruments to match.

every day is an excitement in Sum 41 land cuz you wake up everyday excited that there may be something released on the webiste/twitter accounts/TNS about the new album or this "so called 12 minute song" so you get up excited and the tension grips you when you bash that enter key once you type the adress in and that milisecond it takes for the page to load seems like a life time just to find out that
Spoiler: show
There is no news just a bunch of whiney comments like this
....and suddenly your bonner starts to goe away

whats not exciting about that?
