anyway.. around 2:10 there is a song playing in the background.. I've got the feeling that that was a new song..
it doesnt really sound like deryck singing
wow, if you really listen it sounds exactly like him.

Heather not replying to this makes me wonder if she knows more about this :winkwink:

Angel w/ Dirty Faces @ 40 seconds
That was really the only part of the song I enjoyed in Angels with Dirty Faces. The chorus comes off as if it was written in 5 minutes.

I really like the lead guitar part during the chorus, it's a shame that the lead guitar isn't playing louder in the chorus.. I still really like the song though
Wow, I really like it. It could have been longer, but I think it's one of the Sums best... but to each his own I guess.

doesn't sound like what I heard, so nothing to hide...lol

its odd what I remember....the weird intro and the SBM chorus. I really can't repeat the rest of the songs in my head just the general sounds. I guess if I heard it, I'd recognize it. I actually had the SBM chorus stuck in my head for a few days

Off topic but I'm too lazy to find somewhere appropriate to post this:

I'm thinking about printing a shitload of these for the next time I see them and just throw them around all over the place for fun. He wished for it, he shall get it.

is it just me or does that little riff sound a lot like "pleasure seeker" by social distortion?

Don't you think Deryck's "accident" could be related to finishing the album as Steve's "accident" ?

The album is done by the band, so we're only waiting for it to be mastered and labeled. Giving the band few days off wouldn't change anything for the album.

Hey guys, Derick is not sick at all... Yesturday Sum41 was giving a show at "Festivent de Lévis" in quebec...

I was there and the show was awsome... Brown Tom signed a few (3-4) songs that I didn't know (New stuff? GOB Stuff?) ... Maybe is it because of his "injury"?

Here is a French Article about the show of yesturday:

Anyways, i love this website even if i'm not writing a lot.... I love the job your doing...

BTW, excuse my english... I'M a French Canadien so...

It's a bit blunt to see he isn't sick at all. It's bronchitis not a broken bone.

Yeah, sounds like an awesome gig. I bet they were Gob songs / other covers, to rest D's voice a bit.

First welcome to TNS, second his name is Deryck, not Derick, third, yes he is sick. They canceled the warp shows to be ready for SummerSonic & the Quebec show. Tom filling in was part of him taking it easy on his voice
