Re: Recommend me some albums?
Good Charlotte used to be fantastic But that last album was a no-no ;( +1. I still love GC though, even though they're really poppy and sometime the lyrics are cheesey. Set Your Goals - Mutiny! The Explosion - Flash Flash Flash <--- I love that band. Zebrahead - Broadcast To The World/Phoenix Don't...

I've only seen that guy in Flight Of The Conchords and Scrubs. He seems really funny though.

Re: Sum 41 Not On Main Stage for warped tour
I'm always glad that Sum 41 always choose to play the Glasgow Barrowlands instead of the O2 Academy or the SECC. In the Barrowlands it's all standing and it's amazing whatever band you go and see. I've never understood why people like the Barrowlands so much (even Metallica said they played their b...

In 'Unbound (The Wild Ride)' it's kids singing. Three of them I think. It's on the DVD that comes with the album. Shanna Crooks sings in 'Dear God' and 'A Little Piece Of Heaven'. The new album was slated for a July release. There's a sample of one of the songs (I think it's called 'Nightmare') on t...

I'm quite gutted I missed it on TV. I enjoy hearing shitty music combined with ridiculous stage productions.
UK came in last? That's because we suck. Have you heard our guy? Actually, he's that bad I thought we had a shot.

'Fat Lip' on Now! That's What I Call Music 50. Christmas 2001. Shit CD but it introduced me to Sum 41. Got AKNF the next Christmas...I was a pretty poor child, haha.

Re: Yellowcard - Wall of DEATH
That was weak. I hate when bands say "I want you to [do something]" or "sing along" or "are you ready?". Just play the fucking song and let people do what they will with it. Only talk about the future of the band or if you have a funny story to tell. That's what I'd say...

Green Day had some EP's out in the 80's, so that's why.Emil wrote:I don't get how people can talk about punk music in the 80's. Green Day invented punk in 1995.
I hate Green Day except most of the 'American Idoit' album, which is odd as most people feel the opposite from that.

Re: Non-Pop-Punk music you like
I don't like to call Millencolin pop-punk, just beacuse the whole pop-punk image and scene is different now to what it was a few ago, and they just don;t seem to fit in it. I'd say they're more skate punk/punk rock. True. What's regarded as Pop-Punk nowadays has 0.00% punk rock content. Anybody eve...

That's something I've always wanted to do. Mine's would be all black w/maple fret board(22 frets), hardtail bridge. I would do the one 'bucker, one volume combo also. Simple. No messing around. A rock-the-fuck-out guitar.
Hope it turns out good, man.

Without trying to cause any trouble here, I think the topic title sounds a bit like you assume that everyone here mainly listen to Pop Punk music. Pop Punk isn't my preferred genre; I prefer Punk Rock, Hardcore, Melodic Hardcore and Post-Hardcore over Pop Punk. I used to listen a lot to Pop Punk a ...
