good grief this song is hard to sing, no breath taking areas at all, so there are some spots where I'm out of breath, but I didn't feel like trying to record it again...
and like Skumfuk, this is kinda "my version" not a true note by note cover

Excellent, it sounds better acoustic imo. Your voice suited perfectly, great new arrangement. It kind of remeinded me of Avril, scary i know

Sounds really different from the original, but that's what you wanted, and the result is very good IMO ! I like the parts where you sing the high notes the best, it really shows your vocal skills. In 2 words. Good Job !!!

Thanks a lot! I get the Avril comparison a lot, as long as its "old" Avril thats cool..hahaMetalMilitant41 wrote:Excellent, it sounds better acoustic imo. Your voice suited perfectly, great new arrangement. It kind of remeinded me of Avril, scary i know
I really want them to do an acoustic set with some of these songs, I know D doesn't like doing that though. I asked him in the Q&A I sent over a month ago, still haven't gotten that back, I give up.
Yeah, when I do the acoustic covers I try to switch it up a bit. Thanks!!182sins wrote:Sounds really different from the original, but that's what you wanted, and the result is very good IMO ! A very interesting take on the song. Sounds very different from the original - more like an upbeat acoustic ballad than a indie rock-song. Maybe add some backup OOOH-OOHs next time?

I really liked Skumfuk, and I really like this one too, it is very original and it's really practically a new song - but that's good! It sounds really great

It's really really good. I like what you've done with it, the differences make it suit your voice more, by the way you have a great voice, wish mine was like that, unfortunately I even suck at singstar

It's really really great, I'm raping replay button.
Again I just hope you'd be able to get proper equipment for recording! Like everyone else said, backing vocals are huge part of this song! But still, without them you managed to make it sound fucking great.
This one I use for song ideas/riffs etc.
5-10$ and quality is a bit better than in your recordings or at least the same. And with that kind of cheap usb microphone you could record backing vocals etc. Just download audacity or then pirate some better program, I use adobe audition. Only 5$!

This one was probably 100$ or something. USB microphone too, great for piano/acoustic/vocals/small&quiet percussions. Horrible for everything else.

Just throwing some ideas around, not trying to be dick or anything. I just enjoy so much of your songs that it'd be nice to get to hear them in their "full glory". And it'd be cheap. Headphones + 5$ usb-mic + Crappy PC/MAC is enough!
