I wouldn't travel down to London just to see Sum 41 unless they were playing a festival.

I just watched P4P, gotta love Steve. These are really great videos. I didn't notice the first time that Cone was holding they cymbal in SBM at the beginning, was wondering how they were getting that sound

I agree. I don't even try, we should allow more SBM threads because this one is just too long to make it useful.

I don't know where you read the video would be released on the 7, cause as far as I know, the video hasn't even been film yet. So I guess you're talking about the SBM single on iTunes. It's not on the UK store for me, but it's on the french store, and I bought it, and it's really a waste of money since it's the same version Matt gave us...

Idk why you thought the video was to be released today, but that would be awesome.

..and I wouldn't really say its a waste of money. That's like not purchasing the album because a high-quality version already leaked. You gotta support the band :silly:

I think Apple keeps about 30%. The label gets the rest but break it down further and the actual artist probably only gets 5%.

Apparently, the Sums are also confirmed for a US music & extreme sports festival called Extreme Thing which takes place March 26 in Las Vegas.

http://www.extremething.com/performers.htm

Now, with the Pomona Glass House release show on March 29, and this show a few days earlier, something tells me this is going to be part of the US tour, which makes sense, since they are free from March 7 (the last date of Soundwave) until late May which is the Japanese tour. So I guess, late March-April is going to be the US tour, so good for all of you guys in the US, finally haha.

Is there any way a band can create an album without a label? obviously they could have to market/promote it themselves but would it be possible?
fuck this signature nonsense

of course you can, bands do it all the time. the problem is, it will the cost the band alot of money, and there will be no label to help promote & distribute the album.

Haha, I know! It's really not something to bring up right away in an interview like that.
