Oh I just downloaded a backing track, but maybe the person who made it used guitar pro. I just recorded all the guitar parts.mikey41 wrote:what did you use to get the drum loops? it kinda sounds like guitar pro

You really should get yourself some better equipment. At first I thought you played it really bad, but when the solo came in I knew it had to be the equipment. It really sounds like shit =/ BUT, I liked the solo. (Just to make things clear; your sound was shit, not your playing )

Ya I know. What I did was plugged my guitar straight into my PC with a little adapter, then added the distortion and stuff through Live8 (editing software). I'm gonna buy a pedal soon and just record straight from that though.Slither wrote:You really should get yourself some better equipment. Although I was able to get a cool sound out of the purple haze cover I did. Most of it sounds bad, but the solo I did at 1:15 doesn't sound too bad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhW7doDYQ-Y
